A: Hi Lydia, We haven't tried it ourselves, and might be concerned about natural colors fading, but we did find a blogger who baked the multi-colored Carnival Mix Sprinkles in a cake. If you scroll down to half way, you can see some pictures. It looks like they held up! http://fromjessicaskitchen.com/momofuku-milk-bar-birthday-layer-cake-made-gluten-free-dairy-free-happy-birthday-to-me-recipe-index-html/

A: Hi, India Tree reports that there are no peanuts in the facility where Pink Natural Sprinkles are made.

Q: My daughter has severe allergies to multiple foods that she must avoid...can you tell me if India Tree Sprinkles are free from the following:
peanuts, tree nuts, milk/dairy, eggs, fish, sunflower seeds, peas
We haven't had any luck finding sprinkles/toppings that are safe for her, so would love to know if India Tree are!!

A: Hi Tracy, Apologies for the dealyed response! While India Tree is not specifically an allergy-friendly brand, it does not appear any of the ingredients you mentioned are present in the India Tree sprinkles, with the exceptpon of the Choclate Vermicelli variety, which does contain milk. The equipment is cleaned by hand with food-grade sanitizer between runs. They say "During manufacture, we and our suppliers make every effort to avoid cross contamination. However, we cannot guarantee that such contamination will not occur. Because we source our products from many different suppliers, it is impossible to determine whether any cross-contamination has occurred at some point in the supply chain."
