A: Hi, We can ask the manufacturer about the natural flavors in the Sunny Fruit Slices, but from experience we expect they will respond that the flavors are proprietary, and their flavor supplier can't reveal the exact formulas. Natural flavors are comprised basically of 1) the flavoring compounds, which must be derived from natural sources (as opposed to synthetic, often petroleum-derived compounds) combined with 2) a carrier, such as alcohol or an oil. Natural flavors used in certified organic products are held to higher standards and may not contain, or use during processing, any synthetic or harsh chemicals. All that said, if you can email us a list (to firstname.lastname@example.org) of what exactly you are concerned about being "hidden" in there, usually we have better luck getting them to answer if particular things are NOT present, since people may have allergies or sensitivities. Depending on what your specific concerns are, we might have a sense of the likelihood of those things being present, even if we can't get clear answers from the manufacture. It is our hope that someday flavor manufactures will be required to declare ALL ingredients. we think it's fair to expect complete ingredient transparency in things we eat!

Q: Do they used corn starch in the processing of the gummies? Like are they molded in corn starch?

A: Hi! We asked the supplier your question about the Sunny Fruit Slices and they responded: "Yes, corn is used in the molding starch. We would not recommend this product for someone with corn allergies." Hope this helps!

Q: Are these candies soft or gummy. Some gummy candies are so chewy, too much
Answered by Natural Candy Store, December 12, 2018 at 02:26:48 PM EST.
A: Hi! Good Afternoon. A couple of us retested them and we don't find them super chewy. They are definitely softer than a Starburst type texture. Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any other questions.
