Q: Do you know of they use cabbage for any of their natural coloring? Our family has allergies to all of plants in the Brassica family. Many natural candies are colored with red, purple or even green cabbage dyes. Thank you.

A: Hi, The sweeteners used are organic evaporated cane juice and organic rice syrup. No xylitol or other sweeteners. This info can also be found on the product page on the "Ingredients" tab. :)

Q: Why does your candy have to have "natural flavors"? You make a sucker free of many of the awful things that I don't want to be putting into my body or the bodies of my family but then you add "natural flavors" which is just as bad. :(
Answered by Natural Candy Store, December 16, 2015 at 07:35:00 PM EST.
A: Hi, Please let us know what your concerns are about natural flavors and we'll be happy to research further to try to find out if the ones used in this item contain any problematic ingredients for you. One good thing about organic is that natural flavors used in certified organic products are required to be organic compatible, meaning they cannot contain nor be produced with synthetic components (which is more strict than "natural flavors" used in non-organic products). I don't know if this is a concern for you, but some folks have heard "natural flavor" is another word for MSG or MSG-like compounds. Please rest assured that MSG and MSG-like flavors would not normally be used in candies, since MSG is a savory flavor (think broth, cheesy and meaty flavors), and candies are normally fruity and sweet as opposed to savory. We hope this information is helpful! Please let us know if you have any additional questions or comments.
Asked by Shianne, December 8, 2015 at 09:20:23 AM EST.
Q: Hello,
Does any of the lollipops have corn derivatives?
Answered by Natural Candy Store, December 16, 2015 at 08:46:08 PM EST.
A: Hi Shianne, The ascorbic acid may be derived from corn. At one time, Yummy Earth had a completely corn-free formula, but they decided to add ascorbic acid for Vitamin C. The other ingredients are likely not derived from corn since the formula was corn-free previously.

Q: Is there still a risk of getting cavities?
Answered by Natural Candy Store, May 16, 2016 at 05:47:50 PM EDT.
A: Hi, YummyEarth Lollipops are made with real sugars, like all the candy we carry. So they are the same as regular candy - and many other foods of course - when it comes to cavities.

Q: My child is allergic to canola oil. Is there any oil present in your lollipops, vegetable oil, canola oil, rapeseed, etc? Thank you
Answered by Natural Candy Store, August 4, 2016 at 06:54:57 PM EDT.
A: Hi Kristin, Apologies for the late response! We received confirmation from Yummy Earth that the only oils used in their organic lollipops are sunflower oil and safflower oil. No other oils are used. :)

Q: Hi
It states that only natural colours are used but doesn't say where they are sourced from, same goes for the flavours. Could you tell me where the colours and flavours are sourced from?
Are these vegetarian? I know they are vegan but that doesn't always mean vegetarian.
Thanks.
Answered by Natural Candy Store, October 31, 2016 at 08:10:30 PM EDT.
A: Hi! We've found it's impossible to get the manufacturer/flavor houses to tell all the sources for flavors, especially, but if you have a specific list of things you're avoiding, we've had more luck getting them to say yes or no to each item on a list. Please email us at sweets@naturalcandystore.com if you have a list you'd like us to try to get answers on.
In our experience, vegan is more strict than vegetarian and by definition vegetarian. We're curious to hear more about what you mean by vegan doesn't always mean vegetarian?

Q: Can I get just Mango an perfectly peach?
Answered by Natural Candy Store, November 24, 2019 at 09:46:33 AM EST.
A: HI Laurie Anne - THat is a great question about the individual flavors. We used to carry the individual flavors, however, the manufacturer stopped selling the individual flavors to wholesalers like us. As of right now, we offer the mix and the Strawberry Smash. If we are ever able to acquire the individual flavors again - we will definitely be getting them again. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

A: Hi Linda, Thanks for sending us a question. We measured one of the YummyEarth Lollipops and it measures 2.5 inches wide and 2 inches tall. We hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
